Today early morning I reached back in Bangalore. I took an auto to reach my home. On the way I saw two three autos passed me by and they were heading in my direction. Once I reached my place, I saw the same auto in my street. I was really wondered these people were on the same compartment and we never knew that we are neighbours.
Suddenly I remembered the line "The world is small and flat". Yes! the world is small and flat. The technology brought us so near that we do never feel the distance.
But I would say world is small due to our selfishness. The society that includes me and you thinks only about themselves. We focus only on our career, Money then family. On the mad pursuit to achieve money and career growth, who is bothered about human relation and who has time to think about the neighbour or have time to meet them at least.
In Bangalore, If you ask for an address or flat number, the immediate response could be "I don't know." People do not know who are their neighbour and nobody bothered to care, making the world to shrink further. You might be thinking whether I am an exception to that. No! how can I be, when I am a part of such small world?
