Interesting romantic quotes!!!

If love is great, and there are no greater things,
then what i feel for you must be the greatest.

Loved you yesterday.
love you still.
always have.
always will.

You and me
together to Be
for Eternity.

If you live to be a hundred, I want to be a hundred winns one day,
so I don't have to live a day without you.

I Love You
I want to be with you.
Because,
I can see you,
I can feel you,
I can watch you...

I want to be with you,
Because,
I can touch you,
I can hug you,
I can kiss you...

I want to be with you,
Because,
I can laugh with you,
I can cry with you,
I can smile at you...

I want to be with you,
Because,
I LOVE YOU.

Loving you
could take my life,
but when I look
into your eyes,
I know
you're worth
that sacrifice!

My gift to ma lady.....

August 19th, one of the most crucial day in my life. Its my engagement day. Well i started preparing myself long ago, but still i am in tension. To be honest i hate to be the center of attraction, and this is the day i am going to be. Apart from that, the gift that i am supposed to present to my lady is the next question. Lot of things came to mind. A small bear, jewelery, apparels, cosmetics,.... yes have a big list on that.

But finally decided to go ahead with a watch. So today i went to the shopping complex, after getting in and out of two shops, i got one watch for my lady. My first gift to my fiance.

Tomorrow is Indian independence day. We are part of a competition in office, and the winner can walk away with 5k in his pockets. My teammates are working to pursue the dream of getting 5k. Tomorrow instead of being late, i am gonna reach earlier to help them out. Last time our team scored 5k, and this time also we are gonna make it. My second gift to my lady. :D [Eventhough if we loose, i already have a gift for her and you may be wondering how winning a competition could be a gift. So even i.]

A trip to hoganakkal......

We can never forget august 4th midnight. It was day when we had our all of a sudden journey to Hoganakkal. Two of our friends has joined us on 3rd in our room to go for a movie "Arabi Katha". On 4th night, we didn't have any plans to do. So we thought of watching tamil movie "Rhythm". In the film, the intro started with a scene from Hoganakkal. Seeing this one of my friend asked, "Shall we head to Hoganakkal?". Everybody got interested, we all jumped into the car. Within 15 minutes we all set off to Hoganakkal.

It was a cool idea and a nice journey. We started at 12.30 AM and had a plan to reach there only by morning 7. After drawing money from the ATM, we started off. Praveen my friend, took the role of Finance Manager, Thushar who was already been there once, was the Event Coordinator.

The route we chose was, Bangalore - Dharmapuri-Hoganakkal. It was around 195 KM.

We reached Hoganakkal around 8 AM, due to the increased number of pit points, we were late by 1 hour. On reaching hoganakkal, we were bit afraid of the guides who started following us. Finally we managed to meet Mr. Muthu, he promised us to take around. He started with 200/head, but finally Thushar made it to 150/head and a trip duration of 1.5 hours.

Initially i was so afraid to get into the round boat, but gradually i started enjoying it. It was a superb experience. On the way in the river muthu has shown us 20 water falls and finally we reached a shore where you can have fish. So we ordered 35 idali,15 fished and two bottles of Toddy. That was our breakfast :). After that we headed to the main waterfall, an eye candy one.

Then we asked muthu to take us a place where we can have bath. He managed to get a place. Nearly half an hour we spent there. After taking bath he took us one more round and we came back to the place. It was a massive ride of 3 hours. Muthu was such a good person, his hospitality, the way he treated us is the one thing that made us enjoy this tour.

Around 12.30 we started back to bangalore. Even though Hoganakkal is so famous for its natural beauty, its not so hygienic. On the way to our boat, we saw a slaughter cutting a goat and taking its blood. May thats a usual thing for them. But as a tourist we couldn't see that. Moreover the sound of dieing goat. Praveen ran way from the scene. Even i couldn't tolerate that.

Back to bangalore trip was not so good. Everybody was so tired and wanted to reach home. As there is no good hotels in the way back, we had to suffer our hunger till we reach bangalore. Anyway it was a cool trip i ever had. This is not my opinion, everybody agrees. This was our 6th trip in two years. Hoping more and more. Next location decided is Jog falls, but has to be finalized.

Its all in your communication

Communication skills of a person has to do a lot with his profession. The below story explains it well than i could do with my blog.

One night, Emperor Akbar dreamt that he had lost all his teeth, except one. The next morning he invited all the astrologers of his kingdom to interpret this dream.

After a long discussion, the astrologers prophesized that all his relatives would die before him.

Akbar was very upset by this interpretation and so sent away all the astrologers without any reward.

Later that day, Birbal entered the court. Akbar related his dream and asked him to interpret it. After thinking for a while Birbal replied that the Emperor would live a longer & more fulfilled life than any of his relatives.

Akbar was pleased with Birbal's explanation and rewarded him handsomely.

here in this story birbal and astrolegers conveyed the same message to king, but the way they presented was different. Birbal was able to convey the truth in a pleasing manner.

Never give up, even though its not your time.

Last week i went to watch the movie "300". I was so impressed by the way it was presented. Good graphics matching the story and specially in a monochrome frame. But more than those, i was so attracted by the dialogues. Let me quote some of them to which i was attracted most.

1. Be committed to your job
Leonidas: You, what is your profession?
Arcadian Soldier: I'm a potter, sir.
Leonidas: And you, Arcadian, what is your profession?
Arcadian Soldier: I'm a sculptor.
Leonidas: And you?
Arcadian Soldier: I'm a blacksmith.
Leonidas: [Turning towards the Spartans] Spartans! What is your profession?
Spartans: Harooh! Harooh! Harooh!
Leonidas: See old friend, I brought more soldiers than you did.
2. Never give up, even though its not your time.

Persian Emissary: The thousand nations of the Persian Empire descend upon you! Our arrows will blot out the sun!
Stelios: [grins] Then we will fight in the shade.
3. A good leader always stands by his followers
Xerxes: Imagine what horrible fate awaits my enemies when I would gladly kill any of my own men for victory.
Leonidas: And I would die for any one of mine.
These conversations gives a clear cut idea of Spartans. The way they ever lived. Even though they lost the war, but they were never ready to give up. Till the last breath, they fought like real men.

My money and electronic gadgets

After a long time, i got sometime to work on my blogs. Before blogging, let me thank google for merging all the accounts together. As usual this time also, i forgot my username and password.

I am out of subjects.... Thought for a while to get a subject. Now thinking to write down my electronic gadget craziness. Accidentally yesterday i got into a ipod showroom. The new nano took my breath away. I thought getting one for me.

Then i looked back to know how much i spent on gadgets. In the past 2 years nearly i spent more than one lakh and that too just for the mobile phones. Now i am gonna hit an ipod.

I have used a lot of mobile phones, all most all the manufacturers and i feel the best is Sony Ericsson. The quality of music and the photo, you will never ever get on any other one. Even if you go for NSeries, you will get a 3.2 Mega pixel camera. The same 3.2 with much more functionality you will get from sony ericsson K790i and more models with less price.

Now i am dropping out my new sony ericsson dreams to get a Nano. Hope it wont disappoint me. And as usual i have decided not to spent any more penny on gadgets... Hope this will work at least this time.... Lets see.....
